“Miracles Happen Everyday, Change Your Perception Of What A Miracle Is And You’ll See Them All Around You.”

Recovery is what I call an “ordinary miracle.” I consider it an ordinary miracle because it is open and available to anyone who seeks it. When we stop waiting for a miracle to happen, we can go about making a miracle happen for ourselves. We take so many miracles for granted. The sun rises everyday. Each Spring, trees return from the seemingly dead to be reborn with more leaves than the year before. The millions of people who have staved off death from addiction are miracles in life. Today, I will change my perception of a miracle. I will be the miracle. I will notice the miracles that are all around me. I will recognize that every step I take towards sobriety is a gift that I will appreciate.
