Patricia “Trisha” Blecich is a seasoned Counselor based in Connecticut. She received a Master’s of Science in Counselor Education at Central Connecticut University in 1999, and became licensed in the State of Connecticut as a Professional Counselor in 2002.
Trisha specializes in Substance Use & Addiction Disorders (i.e., alcoholism, problem gambling, overeating). She also treats primary and co-occurring impairments such as anxiety disorders (i.e., Panic Disorder, Social Phobia); ADD/ADHD and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders.
Trisha is an eclectic counselor. She utilizes a variety of tools and techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), MI & DBT. Trisha strongly believes in the Resilience Factor, Strengths Based and Solution Focused model of Recovery.
