“Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path.”

Many can recognize the storm and the wreckage our addiction has caused. We lament and beat ourselves up for the things we have done. Recovery clears the path of the storm. Winter bares the trees of its leaves, only to have Spring come around and restore the trees more fully than the previous year. We had character defects that were there prior to our decision to use. It’s been a long stormy winter. Today, I will look at the storm as a way of clearing my path with the ability to start anew. The storm doesn’t last forever. Today, I will look for the rainbow that follows.
