We have a tendency to make our own luck. When we make healthy choices, followed by healthy actions, what good fortune we may expect to have. People often wonder “Why me? Why do I always seem to have such bad luck?” Have you stopped to think about the choices you made before experiencing your bad fortune? Recovery takes the bravery to stubbornly refuse to give into urges, cravings and temptations. Staying in sobriety means not making excuses as to why you can’t stay sober, but rather, identifying all the reasons why you should. Today, I will help myself, and all those that care about me by being brave in recovery.
