-Robert Louis Stevenson
I am always planting seeds. When I am cruel and arrogant, I am planting seeds that reap a view of myself by others as a mean-spirited person. When I enter into recovery, I give myself the opportunity to plant different seeds yielding a powerful harvest that comes with true sobriety. Instead of being closed and dishonest, I become the opposite. I replace arrogance with humility; anger with acceptance. All things are possible when I plant good and healthy seeds. Today, I will evaluate the seeds that I have planted and the harvest it produced. I will raise my awareness that I can change the seeds I’m planting, obtain new ones with openness and willingness to change. Today, I am planting the seeds to ensure a healthier tomorrow.
