We have made excuses for not taking the shot at getting sober in the past. We have rationalized our way out of making change. You have the power to make this your best attempt at getting sober and changing life for the better. Today I will take this shot at sobriety. I will give it everything I have. I can be successful. If I choose not to take the shot, I have little chance to be successful. I don’t have to be perfect. I won’t be perfect. But I will give myself the chance to make things different and better when I take my shot at recovery.
